Conveyancing is the legal process to transfer the ownership of property. It is recommended to consider the services of a conveyancer (or solicitor) when buying or selling property.

Your conveyancer understands the property of transferring ownership and will help you preform property searches, review the contract, propery title and check for easements, caveats and covenants. It is their role to act in your best interest and ensure the process runs smoothly.

Based on a 2019 report, conducted by the NSW Government, a conveyancer typically costs between $700 - $2,500.

It is important to find a good conveyancer, and your decision should be make on more than just price. Seek feedback or read other peoples reviews before engaging someones services.
